SUSTAINABILITY POLICY / POLITICA DE SOSTENIBILIDAD

 

TRAVEL AGENCY CYCLING – JOURNEYS S.A.S. aware of the importance of maintaining a sustainable tourism development, and assumed the principles adopted specifically in the Sectoral Technical Standard NTS-TS 003, is committed to carry out a sustainable management of its activities, through the adoption of commitments aimed at preventing, eliminating or reduce the impact of our facilities and operations.

 

We are looking for a better future, being aware of the commitment we have made to sustainable development. We will strive to reduce the impact of our activity and contribute to preserve the biological and cultural diversity of our environment through landscape integration, and respect for its flora and fauna and customs of local communities. Likewise, we also reject the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (CSEC) and discrimination, according to compliance with Colombian legislation.

 

So that we promote the duties and rights of our collaborating clients and suppliers, to have a team work and a continuous improvement of our services.

 

This policy is issued in compliance with Sectorial Technical Standard NTS TS – 003, which establishes the sustainability requirements in the environmental, sociocultural and economic aspects that are applicable to travel agencies.

 

OBJECTIVES

 

  • Promote in our guides and collaborators the optimal use of natural resources, taking into account that they are fundamental elements for tourism development in our country.
  • Promote respect for the sociocultural authenticity of local communities, preserve their cultural, architectural and traditional values.
  • Infuse customers with good environmental and cultural practices that guarantee the care and preservation of destinations.
  • Comply with the health and safety at work policy.
  • Guarantee quality with respect to the products and services we offer.
  • Link suppliers that promote practices related to sustainable tourism.

 

SANITARY MEASURES FOR THE TRAVELER

 

Before going on a trip, find out about the effective health status of your destination and about access there to consular and emergency services, and make sure that your health and personal safety are not in danger. Make sure you have your specific needs covered (food, accessibility or medical care) before deciding to travel to a certain destination.

 

TIMELY INFORMATION.

 

Gather as much information as possible about your destination, and take time to understand their customs, norms and traditions. Avoid behaviors that may offend the local population.

Inform yourself of the current legislation so as not to commit any act that is considered criminal in the visited country. Do not deal with drugs, weapons, antiquities, protected species, or products or substances that are dangerous or prohibited by national regulations.

 

CURRENT LEGAL REGULATION:

 

  •  Illegal trafficking of flora and fauna species and cultural heritage assets is considered a crime in Colombia for which fines and imprisonment may be incurred.
  •  CYCLING – JOURNEYS S.A.S. In its commitment to sustainable development, it promotes compliance with the following regulations that protect the nation’s cultural and natural heritage:
  • Law 17 of 1981 and Law 1333 of 2009 on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
  •  Law 63 of 1986 and Law 1185 of 2008 on Trade in Cultural Goods
  • Resolution 0584 of 2002 on Wild Species that are threatened in the national territory.
  • Law 1453 of 2011. Article 32. Illicit management of exotic species. Likewise, compliance with the applicable regulations is promoted to counteract the sexual exploitation of minors.
  •  Law 1336 of 2009 average of which Law 679 of 2001 is added and strengthened, to combat exploitation, pornography and sex tourism with children and adolescents.
  • Law 679 of 2001 by means of which a statute is issued to prevent and counteract exploitation, pornography and sexual tourism with minors, in development of article 44 of the Constitution.
  •  Law 599 of 2000. Penal Code, Title IV «Crimes against freedom, integrity and sexual formation.
  •  Law 1482 of 2011, guarantee the protection of the rights of a person, group of people, community or people, which are violated through acts of racism or discrimination.

 

 

SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIOR

 

 It is the responsibility of all employees, customers, employees and suppliers to implement the following good practices, in addition to those established in the different procedures of the Sustainability System:

 

 

SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIORS WITH THE ENVIRONMENT

 

  • Always try to buy and consume foods that use recyclable packaging or that do not use them at all.
  • Carry bags of different colors (green, blue and gray) to separate the waste and deposit it in the bins or places demarcated by the competent authority; both in the field and in the office.
  •  Encourage donation to projects that preserve and environmental education.
  • Visitors under any circumstances may bring wild plants or animals to their country of origin; This is not only a crime; it also contributes to the disappearance of the species.
  • Reduce your CO2 emissions, if you travel by car or bus turn it off while you are stopped.
  •  Avoid the use of clothes irons, hair dryers and irons.
  • Do not throw garbage or plastic, identify the trash cans that are nearby or collect everything in a bag and at the end of your visit, throw the waste in the right place.
  •  Turn off the lights and air conditioning in order to save energy and avoid overloading the city’s electrical systems
  •  Efficient use of paper (Recycling), water, energy and renewable resources.
  • Help preserve the species of flora, fauna and cultural heritage found in the Agency and its surroundings.
  • Support to community ecological groups through donations of equipment, field guides and endowments.

 

Water

 

  • Close the faucets when they are not being used. Control the use of this resource.
  •  Remember that sanitary waste must be disposed of in the assigned garbage dump.
  •  Avoid contaminating the water.
  • Do not pour harmful substances in washings or in toilets.
  •  It prefers the use of thermos for the personal consumption of water.
  • Report to management, leaks or water leaks detected.

 

Energy

 

  •  Turn off the lights when they are not necessary.
  • Turn off computer equipment, printers and other electrical appliances once the working day has ended
  • Turn off the computer screen when it is not in use.
  •  Report damage detected to the management, in the sources, equipment or power conductors.
  • Implementation of energy-saving light bulbs in the establishment.

 

Waste / Paper

 

  •  Remember the correct classification of waste.
  • Use recyclable sheets as much as possible if you need to print.
  • Print on both sides of the paper when possible.
  • Promote communication through electronic means.
  • Replace single-use batteries in the offices with rechargeable batteries with a longer life.

 

SOCIOCULTURAL BEHAVIOR

 

  • Respect diversity; observe the traditions and social and cultural practices of the place.
  •  Abstention from the sale, commercialization, traffic or exhibition of archaeological pieces, unless it has the respective permits, for the unique and specific case of the exhibition.
  •  Inform travelers about the values ​​and traditions of the community.
  • Avoid visits to indigenous communities without authorization.
  • Encourage the purchase by the traveler of local products and crafts.
  •  Remind customers, suppliers and workers that it is important to respect human rights, since any act of violation towards these goes against the fundamentals of tourism.
  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS, warns that threatening the life of protected species, as well as the trafficking and exploitation of plants, is considered a crime and can bring serious penalties for those who carry it out.
  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS, promulgates in its customers, suppliers and employees basic and necessary care for the conservation and durability of the destination they visit, as well as ensuring the best experience during their stay.
  • Clarify that the communities are the only ones that can decide the aspects of their cultural traditions that they wish to share with the visitors and the level of interaction in each one.
  • Respect the visual arts based on traditional craftsmanship techniques of local communities.
  • Encourage the consumption of typical foods of the country and their local communities.
  • Promote social practices, rituals and festivities.
  • Respect music and performing arts.
  • Promote respect for oral traditions and expressions, including language as a vehicle of intangible cultural heritage.
  • Respect knowledge and uses related to nature and the universe.
  • Promote codes of behavior in sites of cultural or historical importance and protect archaeological and historical pieces.
  • Contribute to the protection and maintenance of historical, archaeological, cultural and spiritual assets and sites, as well as promoting and valuing local traditions.

 

COMMUNITARIAN LOCAL DEVELOPMENT:

 

  • Promote cultural meetings between tourists and local communities, in which an authentic and respectful exchange takes place.
  • Promote tourism activities that protect the cultural heritage of the place of destination and that allow cultural and traditional products, crafts and folklore to remain in force.
  • Encourage the participation of local communities in the development of tour packages.
  • Include within the planning of the destination a participatory process with the community to carry out the activities to be carried out, inside and outside the natural area.
  •  Promote studies of the state of facilities in local communities to carry out tourism as a source of income.
  • Respect the management plans of collective territories and the life plans of the black communities, indigenous resguardos and peasant communities
  • Involve the traditional authorities of the indigenous and Afro-Colombian communities in the development processes of the tourism product.

 

BEHAVIOR IN THE COMPANY

 

  •  Continuous training for employees.
  • Active re-engineering of our services for continuous improvement with customers.
  • Report actions that attempt against the physical and moral integrity of living beings in general.
  • Apply the legal policies that guarantee the durability of the Colombian Fauna and Flora, as well as the Welfare of children and adolescents.
  • Maintain behaviors that contribute to good labor and business relationships, tolerating and respecting differences such as race, religion, gender, etc. Between the employees with the clients and with the suppliers.
  • Conduct days of separation and delivery of paper to recyclers or recycling companies that use paper, both in the office and in the course of the tours.
  • Reduce the use of plastic bags, replacing them with cloth bags or cardboard boxes.
  • Provide customers with reusable bottles to reduce the use of plastic bottles.
  • Encourage respect and good behavior towards local communities, where tourism plans are carried out, request advance permits for entry to communities.
  • Give talks to the guides about the good use of natural reserves, natural national parks, sanctuaries of fauna and flora.
  • Deliver manuals on good field practices for the guides.
  • Abide by the code of conduct and report the facts when in doubt.
  • Comply with established safety regulations.
  •  Promote and socialize labor practices that facilitate everyone’s work.
  • Respect the ideas of others and recognize achievements.
  • Handle differences of opinion in private space with the people involved only.Inform suppliers and customers about the sustainability commitments acquired by the company.

 

BEHAVIOR WITH THE ECONOMY

 

  • Fully carry out the projects established by the company, to guarantee its economic development.
  • Comply with the guidelines laid down by management for the economic development of the Company.
  • Report situations that may negatively impact the economy of the Company.
  • Propose actions related to sustainability that lead to improving the indicators of the sustainability program.
  • Identify any type of inconvenience that may negatively affect the agency and its stakeholders.
  • Establish actions that increase the benefits of the agency and the community in general.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT (LAW 1336 OF 2009)

In order to counteract the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in travel and tourism, providers of tourism services will adopt a code of conduct to be observed by their legal representatives, directors, administrators, employees and contractors linked to the provision of tourism services. , in order to make effective the obligations contemplated in articles 16 and 17 of Law 679 of 2001, as well as to prevent the behaviors typified in article 19 of the same Law and also to incorporate the following minimum control measures:

  •  CYCLING – JOURNEYS refrains from offering in tourism promotion programs and tourist plans, expressly or surreptitiously, plans for the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents and, in general, all types of sexual exploitation.

  •  CYCLING – JOURNEYS refrains from giving information to tourists, directly or through interposed persons about places where they are coordinated or where they practice commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.

  •  CYCLING – JOURNEYS abstains from driving tourists, directly or through third parties to establishments or places where commercial sexual exploitation of children is practiced, as well as driving them to the places where tourists are staying, even if they are deals with ships located in the high seas, with the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.

  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS abstains from providing vehicles on tourist routes for the purpose of exploitation or sexual abuse with children and adolescents in general, all types of sexual exploitation.

  • Prevent the entry of children and adolescents into hotels or places of accommodation and lodging, bars, similar businesses and other establishments in which tourism services are provided, for the purpose of exploitation or sexual abuse.

  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS adopts measures to prevent personnel linked to any title with the company from offering tourism services that allow sexual activity with children and adolescents in general, all kinds of sexual exploitation.

  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS will denounce before the Chamber and Commerce and other competent authorities, the facts of which it had knowledge by any means, as well as the existence of places, related to sexual exploitation of children and adolescents and ensure that within the company there are channels for the corresponding report to the competent authorities.

  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS designs and disseminates within the company and its suppliers of goods and services, a policy in which the provider establishes measures to prevent and counteract all forms of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in travel and tourism.

  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS trains all personnel linked to the company, with regard to the prevention of commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents. Inform its users about the legal consequences in Colombia of the exploitation and sexual abuse of children and adolescents.

  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS will inform its users about the legal consequences in Colombia of the exploitation and sexual abuse of children and adolescents.

 

In development of the provisions of Article 17 of Law 679 of 2001, the agency warns tourists that the exploitation and sexual abuse of minors in the country are criminally and administratively sanctioned, in accordance with the laws in force.

 

POLÍTICA DE SOSTENIBILIDAD.

 

LA AGENCIA OPERADORA DE VIAJES CYCLING – JOURNEYS S.A.S. consciente de la importancia de mantener un desarrollo turístico sostenible, y asumidos los principios adoptados específicamente en la Norma Técnica Sectorial NTS–TS 003, se compromete a llevar a cabo una gestión sostenible de sus actividades, mediante la adopción de compromisos orientados a prevenir, eliminar o reducir el impacto de nuestras instalaciones y operaciones.

 

Buscamos un mejor futuro siendo conscientes del compromiso que hemos adquirido con el desarrollo sostenible. Pondremos empeño en reducir el impacto de nuestra actividad y en contribuir a preservar la diversidad biológica y cultural, de nuestro entorno a través de la integración paisajística, y el respeto de su flora y su fauna y costumbres de las comunidades   locales. Igualmente, también rechazamos la explotación sexual de niñas, niños y adolescentes (ESCNNA) y la discriminación, de acuerdo al cumplimiento de la legislación colombiana.

 

 De manera que impulsemos los deberes y derechos de nuestros clientes colaboradores y proveedores, para tener un trabajo en equipo y una mejora continua de nuestros servicios.

 

Esta política se dicta en cumplimiento de la Norma Técnica Sectorial NTS TS – 003, que establece los requisitos de sostenibilidad en los aspectos ambientales, socioculturales y económicos que son aplicables a las agencias de viajes.

 

OBJETIVOS

 

  • Fomentar en nuestros guías y colaboradores el uso óptimo de los recursos naturales, teniendo en cuenta que son elementos fundamentales para el desarrollo turístico en nuestro país.
  • Promover el respeto por la autenticidad sociocultural de las comunidades locales, conservar sus activos culturales, arquitectónicos y valores tradicionales.
  • Infundir en los clientes las buenas prácticas ambientales y culturales que garanticen el cuidado y preservación de los destinos.
  • Cumplir con la política de seguridad y salud en el trabajo.
  • Garantizar la calidad respecto a los productos y servicios que ofrecemos.
  • Vincular proveedores que fomenten prácticas relacionadas con el turismo sostenible.

 

MEDIDAS SANITARIAS PARA EL VIAJERO

 

 Antes de salir de viaje, infórmese sobre la situación sanitaria efectiva de su destino y sobre el acceso en él a servicios consulares y de emergencia, y asegúrese de que su salud y su seguridad personal no correrán peligro. Cerciórese de tener cubiertas allí sus necesidades específicas (alimentación, accesibilidad o atención médica) antes de decidirse a viajar a un destino determinado

 

INFORMACIÓN OPORTUNA.

 

Reúna toda la información posible sobre su destino, y dedique tiempo a entender sus costumbres, normas y tradiciones. Evite los comportamientos que puedan ofender a la población local.

 

 Infórmese de la legislación vigente para no cometer ningún acto que se considere delictivo en el país visitado. No trafique con drogas, armas, antigüedades, especies protegidas, ni productos o sustancias peligrosas o prohibidas por los reglamentos nacionales.

 

NORMATIVIDAD LEGAL VIGENTE:

 

  • El tráfico ilícito de especies de flora y fauna y de bienes del patrimonio cultural se consideran delito en Colombia por los cuales se pueden incurrir en multas y en prisión.
  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS S.A.S. en su compromiso con el desarrollo sostenible promueve el cumplimiento de la siguiente normatividad que protege el patrimonio cultural y natural de la nación:
  • Ley 17 de 1981 y Ley 1333 de 2009 sobre Comercio Internacional de Especies Amenazadas de Fauna y Flora Silvestres.
  • Ley 63 de 1986 y Ley 1185 de 2008 sobre Comercio de Bienes Culturales
  • Resolución 0584 de 2002 sobre Especies Silvestres que se encuentran amenazadas en el territorio nacional.
  • Ley 1453 de 2011. Artículo 32. Manejo ilícito de especies exóticas. De igual forma se promueve el cumplimiento de la normatividad aplicable para contrarrestar la Explotación sexual de menores de edad.
  • Ley 1336 de 2009 promedio de la cual se adiciona y robustece la Ley 679 de 2001, de lucha contra la explotación, la pornografía y el turismo sexual con niños, niñas y adolescentes.
  • Ley 679 de 2001 por medio de la cual se expide un estatuto para prevenir y contrarrestar la explotación, la pornografía y el turismo sexual con menores, en desarrollo del artículo 44 de la Constitución.
  • Ley 599 del 2000. Código Penal, Titulo IV.«Delitos contra la libertad, integridad y formación sexual.
  • Ley 1482 de 2011, garantizar la protección de los derechos de una persona, grupo de personas, comunidad o pueblo, que son vulnerados a través de actos de racismo o discriminación.

 

COMPORTAMIENTOS SOSTENIBLES

 

 Es responsabilidad de todos los colaboradores, clientes, empleados y proveedores implementar las siguientes buenas prácticas, adicionales a las establecidas en los diferentes procedimientos del Sistema de Sostenibilidad:

 

COMPORTAMIENTOS SOSTENIBLES CON EL AMBIENTE

 

  • Procurar siempre comprar y consumir alimentos que usen envoltorios reciclables o que no los usen en absoluto.
  • Llevar bolsas de diferentes colores (verde, azul y gris) para separar los residuos y depositarlos en las canecas o lugares demarcados por la autoridad competente; tanto en campo como en la oficina.
  • Incentivar la donación a proyectos que conservación y educación ambiental.
  • Los visitantes bajo ninguna circunstancia podrán llevar a su país de origen plantas o animales silvestres; pues esto no solo es un delito, sino que contribuye a la desaparición de las especies.
  • Reduzca sus emisiones de CO2, si usted viaja en carro o en bus apáguelo mientras está detenido.
  • Evite el uso de planchas de ropa, secadores y planchas para el cabello.
  • No arroje basuras o plástico, identifique las canecas de basura que estén cerca o recoja todo en una bolsa y al terminar su visita bote los residuos en el lugar adecuado.
  • Apague las luces y el aire acondicionado con el fin de ahorrar energía y evitar sobrecarga en los sistemas eléctricos de la ciudad
  • Uso eficiente del papel (Reciclaje), el agua, la energía y de los recursos renovables.
  • Ayudar a conservar las especies de flora, fauna y patrimonio cultural que encuentren en la Agencia y su entorno.
  • Apoyo a grupos ecológicos comunitarios por medio de donaciones de equipos, guías de campo y dotaciones.

 

Agua

 

  • Cierra los grifos cuando no se estén utilizando. Controla el uso de este recurso.
  • Recuerda que los desechos sanitarios deben botarse en la basurera asignada.
  • Evite contaminar el agua.
  • No verter sustancias dañinas en lavados o en inodoros.
  • Prefiere el uso de termos para el consumo personal del agua.
  • Reportar a la gerencia, fugas o escapes de agua que detecte.

 

Energía

 

  • Apaga las luces cuando no sean necesarias.
  • Apaga los equipos de cómputo, impresoras y demás aparatos eléctricos una vez finalizada la Jornada de trabajo
  • Apaga la pantalla del ordenador cuando no se esté utilizando.
  • Reportar a la gerencia daños detectados, en las fuentes, equipos o conductores de energía.
  • Implementación de bombillos ahorradores de energía dentro del establecimiento.

 

Residuos/Papel

 

  • Recuerde la clasificación correcta de los residuos.
  • Utilice en la medida de lo posible hojas reciclables si necesita imprimir.
  • Imprimir por ambas caras de las hojas de papel cuando sea posible.
  • Promueva la comunicación mediante medios electrónicos.
  • Sustituir en las oficinas las pilas de un solo uso, por pilas recargables con mayor vida útil.

 

 COMPORTAMIENTO SOCIOCULTURAL

 

  • Respetar la diversidad; observar las tradiciones y las prácticas sociales y culturales del lugar.
  • Abstención de la venta, comercialización, tráfico o exhibición de piezas arqueológicas, a menos de que cuente con los permisos respectivos, para el caso único y específico de la exhibición.
  • Informar a los viajeros sobre los valores y   tradiciones de la comunidad.
  • Evitar visitas a comunidades indígenas sin autorización.
  • Incentivar la compra por parte del viajero de productos y artesanías locales.
  • Recordar a clientes, proveedores y trabajadores que es importante respetar los derechos humanos, puesto que cualquier acto de vulneración hacia estos va en contra de los fundamentos del turismo.
  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS, advierte que atentar contra la vida de especies protegidas, así como el tráfico y explotación de plantas, es considerado delito y puede traer sanciones graves para quien lo realice.
  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS, promulga en sus clientes, proveedores y empleados cuidados básicos y necesarios para la conservación y durabilidad del destino que visitan, así como garantizar la mejor experiencia durante su estancia.
  • Aclarar que las comunidades son las únicas que podrán decidir los aspectos de sus tradiciones culturales que desean compartir con los visitantes y el nivel de interacción en cada uno.
  • Respetar las artes visuales basadas en técnicas artesanales tradicionales de las comunidades locales.
  • Incentivar el consumo de los alimentos típicos del país y sus comunidades locales.
  • Promover las prácticas sociales, rituales y festividades.
  • Respetar la música y artes escénicas.
  • Fomentar el respeto de las tradiciones y expresiones orales, incluido el lenguaje como vehículo de patrimonio cultural inmaterial.
  • Respetar el conocimientos y usos relacionados con la naturaleza y el universo.
  • Promover los códigos de comportamiento en los sitios de importancia cultural o histórica y protege las piezas arqueológicas e históricas.
  • Contribuir a la protección y el mantenimiento de bienes y sitios históricos, arqueológicos, culturales y espirituales, además de promover y valorar las tradiciones locales.

 

DESARROLLO LOCAL COMUNITARIO:

 

  • Fomentar encuentros culturales entre los turistas y las comunidades locales, en los que se produzca un auténtico y respetuoso intercambio.
  • Promover actividades turísticas que protejan la herencia cultural del lugar de destino y que permitan que los productos culturales y tradicionales, las artesanías y el folclore se mantengan vigentes.
  • Incentivar la participación de las comunidades locales en el desarrollo de los paquetes turísticos.
  • Incluir dentro de la planeación del destino un proceso participativo con la comunidad para realizar las actividades a realizar, dentro y fuera del área natural.
  • Promover estudios del estado de las instalaciones en las comunidades locales para llevar acabo la actividad turística como fuente de ingreso.
  • Respetar los planes de manejo de territorios colectivos y los planes de vida de las comunidades negras, resguardos indígenas y de comunidades campesinas
  • Involucrar a las autoridades tradicionales de las comunidades indígenas y afrocolombianas en los procesos de desarrollo del producto turístico.

 

COMPORTAMIENTO EN LA EMPRESA

  • Capacitación continua para los empleados.
  • Reingeniería activa de nuestros servicios para mejora continua con los clientes.
  • Denunciar acciones que atenten contra la integridad física y moral de los seres vivientes en general.
  • Aplicar las políticas legales que garanticen la durabilidad de la Fauna y Flora Colombiana, así como el Bienestar de los niños, niñas y adolescentes.
  • Mantener comportamientos que contribuyan a las buenas relaciones laborales y comerciales, tolerando y respetando las diferencias como raza, religión, género etc. Entre los empleados con los clientes y con los proveedores.
  • Realizar jornadas de separación y entrega de papel a recicladores o empresas de reciclaje que utilicen papel, tanto en la oficina como en el trascurso de los tures.
  • Reducir uso de bolsas plásticas, remplazándolas por bolsas de tela o cajas de cartón.
  • Entregar a los clientes botellas reutilizables para reducir el uso de botellas plásticas.
  • Fomentar el respeto y buen comportamiento hacia las comunidades locales, donde se lleva a cabo los planes turísticos, pedir con anticipación permisos de entradas a las comunidades.
  • Dar charlas a los guías sobre el bue uso de las reservas naturales, Parques nacionales naturales, santuarios de fauna y flora.
  • Entregar manuales sobre buenas prácticas de campo para los guías.
  • Acatar el código de conducta y reportar los hechos ante cualquier duda.
  • Cumplir las normas de seguridad establecidas.
  • Promover y socializar prácticas de laborales que faciliten el trabajo de todos.
  • Respetar las ideas de los demás y reconocer logros alcanzados.
  • Manejar las diferencias de opinión en espacio privado con las personas involucradas únicamente.
  • Informar a los proveedores y a los clientes sobre los compromisos en sostenibilidad adquiridos por la empresa.

 

COMPORTAMIENTO CON LA ECONOMÍA

 

  • Llevar a cabalidad los proyectos que establezca la empresa, para garantizar su desarrollo económico.
  • Cumplir con las directrices trazadas por la gerencia, para el desarrollo económico de la Empresa.
  • Informar las situaciones que pueda impactar negativamente la economía de la Empresa.
  • Proponer acciones relacionadas con la sostenibilidad, que conlleven a mejorar los indicadores del programa de sostenibilidad.
  • Identificar cualquier tipo de inconvenientes que puedan afectar negativamente a la agencia y a sus grupos de interés.
  • Establecer acciones que incrementen los beneficios de la agencia y la comunidad en general.

 

CÓDIGO DE CONDUCTA (LEY 1336 DE 2009)

 

Con el fin de contrarrestar la explotación sexual de niños, niñas y adolescentes en viajes y turismo, los prestadores de servicios turísticos adoptarán un código de conducta que deberán observar sus representantes legales, directores, administradores, empleados y contratistas vinculados a la prestación de servicios turísticos, con el fin de hacer efectivas las obligaciones contempladas en los artículos 16 y 17 de la Ley 679 de 2001, así como a prevenir las conductas tipificadas en el artículo 19 de la misma Ley e igualmente que incorpore las siguientes medidas mínimas de control:

 

  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS se abstiene de ofrecer en los programas de promoción turística y en los planes turísticos, expresa o subrepticiamente, planes de explotación sexual de niños, niñas y adolescentes y en general todo tipo de práctica de explotación sexual.

  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS se abstiene de dar información a los turistas, directamente o por interpuesta persona acerca de lugares desde donde se coordinen o donde practique explotación sexual comercial de niños, niñas y adolescentes.

  •  CYCLING – JOURNEYS se abstiene de conducir a los turistas, directamente o a través de terceros a establecimientos o lugares donde se practique la explotación sexual comercial de niños, niñas, así como conducir a éstos a los sitios donde se encuentran hospedados los turistas, incluso si se trata barcos localizados en altamar, con fines de explotación sexual comercial de niños, niñas y adolescentes.

  •  CYCLING – JOURNEYS se abstiene de facilitar vehículos en rutas turísticas con fines de explotación o de abuso sexual con niños, niñas y adolescentes en general todo tipo de práctica de explotación sexual.

  •  Impedir el ingreso de niños, niñas y adolescentes a los hoteles o lugares de alojamiento y hospedaje, bares, negocios similares y demás establecimientos en los que se presten servicios turísticos, con fines de explotación o de abuso sexual.

  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS adopta las medidas tendientes a impedir que el personal vinculado a cualquier título con la empresa, ofrezca servicios turísticos que permitan actividad sexual con niños, niñas y adolescentes en general todo tipo de práctica de explotación sexual.

  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS denunciara ante Cámara y Comercio y demás autoridades competentes, los hechos de que hubiere tenido conocimiento por cualquier medio, así como la existencia de lugares, relacionados con explotación sexual de niños, niñas y adolescentes y asegurar que al interior de la empresa existan canales para la denuncia correspondiente ante las autoridades competentes.

  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS diseña y divulga al interior de la empresa y con sus proveedores de bienes y servicios, una política en la que el prestador establezca medidas para prevenir y contrarrestar toda forma de explotación sexual de niños, niñas y adolescentes en viajes y turismo.

  • CYCLING – JOURNEYS capacita a todo el personal vinculado a la empresa, frente al tema de prevención de la explotación sexual comercial de niños, niñas y adolescentes. Informar a sus usuarios sobre las consecuencias legales en Colombia de la explotación y el abuso sexual de niños, niñas y adolescentes.

  •  CYCLING – JOURNEYS informara a sus usuarios sobre las consecuencias legales en Colombia de la explotación y el abuso sexual de niños, niñas y adolescentes. En desarrollo de lo dispuesto en el artículo 17 de la Ley 679 de 2001, la agencia advierte al turista que la explotación y el abuso sexual de menores de edad en el país son sancionados penal y administrativamente, conforme a las leyes vigentes.
