7 Lakes , The Argentinian Patagonia
Cycling offers an active way to explore this stunning area of the northern Patagonia, while you experience beautiful scenery, along beaches, next to mountain ranges and visiting spectacular lakes
Home to impressive Andes landscapes, vast Lakes and fast flowing clear water rivers, the Argentinian lakes district is a perfect place for cycling, the Patagonian Andes rise north of the Strait of Magellan, numerous depressions and breaches cut this wild and rugged portion of the Andes, with the crests of the mountains exceed 10,000 feet.
Magnificent and impenetrable forests grow on this cordillera, these forests cover the mountains as high as the snow line, although at the higher altitudes toward the north and in Tierra del Fuego the vegetation is lower and less dense, but Argentina have created national parks to preserve the area’s natural beauty and protect this unique landscape.
Our trip take place in between Bariloche and San Martin de los Andes – and everything in-between – towns perched on the shores of vast blue lakes as far as the eye can see, making a wonderful base area for exploration and equally suited as a place to relax after a strenuous adventure, take your time to enjoy a wine, handcraft beer from the local breweries, delicious Swiss chocolate and the delicious local gastronomy.
