Home to the Most Charming Towns
The Colombian Andes are home to majestic mountains and astonishing scenery. A landscape full of history and culture. Small towns frozen in time, with their cobblestone streets and colonial architecture, inviting on to imagine this Colombia two centuries earlier as we pedal. These villages founded over the Eastern Andean mountain range have chosen to preserve their colonial architecture, thus, providing a cozy atmosphere to our accommodations. This province got its name honoring a great military leader of the Colombian independence, Francisco de Paula Santander. The richness regarding history here is expressed through the colonial architecture and on every cobblestone street. An environment that keeps in the present the heritage from past centuries. This will be a common sight on this incredible journey, going across some of the most beautiful towns in Colombia. These towns, which make part of Colombia’s history and architecture heritage.
Type
Point to Point
This format of journeys consists in starting from a point “A” and finishing on a point “B” without returning back to the initial point. Meaning by this, that typically we start riding at a given distance from where we spent the night, and that we will finish at a distant point from the start, getting us closer to our following night’s hotel. Usually, there will be one or more stops planned between the starting point and our finish line.
